who we are
We are creators. At Ava Layne, we collaborate with retailers and manufacturers across the United States to bring thoughtful and beautiful products to life. Our art prints and patterns are carefully crafted by hand using a blend of watercolor, gouache, and digital illustration techniques.
how we work
sketch
We use sketches and mood boards help develop the story for each of our pattern collections. With an emphasis on floral design, we love to draw inspiration from nature. Our florals are always complemented by gorgeous geometric patterns to help round out our collections.
illustrate
With the mixture of paint and the stroke of a brush, we can begin to tell the story of our latest collection. Each pattern series is unique and brought to life with a variety of artistic mediums.
create
In the final step of our process, we apply our patterns to create beautiful products. Our collections can be added to any product type you can dream of: planners, fabrics, wallpaper, and more. A thoughtful combination of color and pattern combine to create gorgeous product collections that can be cherished for years.
